Why is bwin closing down in my country?

bwin has taken the difficult decision to withdraw from Zambia.

What is the timeline for bwin to close down in Zambia?

bwin will soon stop operating in Zambia. This means that:  

  • From 17/01/2024 you will no longer be able to place any Sports bets on bwin.com.zm. 
  • From 31/01/2024 you will no longer be able to make any deposit on bwin.com.zm.  
  • From 14/02/2024, you will no longer be able to play on Casino. 
  • From 25/03/2024, you will no longer be able to make any withdrawals
  • On 28/03/2024, bwin.com.zm will close and you will no longer be able to log in to your account or access the site.
  • On 28/03/2024, bwin will attempt to push back any remaining balances to player mobile money accounts. 
  • Any remaining player account balances will be relinquished to the Bank of Zambia. 
How long can I continue to play and deposit funds?

The final date bwin will accept deposits is 31st January 2024.

Account holders will be able to wager on sports up to 17th January and until 14th February 2024 for Casino.

How long do I have to withdraw my funds?

On 25th March 2024, you will  no longer be able to make any withdrawals.

Will I still have access to my banking history and gaming history?

Yes, your account history (deposits and withdrawals) will remain available up to 28th March 2024.

Will I still have access to my bet/gaming history?

You will have access to your bet/gaming history only up to 28th March 2024.

What is the final date of closure of bwin Zambia?

The bwin Zambia site will be no longer available to view from 28th March 2024.
